Just a few mistakes, costly penalties, a TO, and a brain fart on a KO led to bad field position and opposing points.

Missed blocks from the LT and RB in the first 40 secs on separate plays were killer in that video when ECU badly needed a drive. UNC's blitzes were really getting into our blocker's heads.

Also think we need to see more of those stretch plays like we saw on that third and 30. The majority of the team's runs are up the middle. Need some more runs off tackle.

Weak effort by our guys on some of those plays. I don't mind when we lose as long as we put full effort forth.

The O-line just plane missed a lot of blocks, one the OLB backed out and the LT missed the DE, unblocked for a sack. The center #74 was just bad all game, just blown off the or missed the block, on the middle screen to Hardy, he blocked the defender right in to Hardy. On one play Carden was either stepping up in the pocket or was trying to run it and it was either #78 or #74 for us that just stood there and watch the UNC MLB run right him to pop Carden and cause the fumble, what the hell dude, HIT SOME ONE. See Blue, hit blue, don't let him run right freak'n past you and blow up the QB.
Also, how many times does Cooper have to come in mid-way threw the 3rd and lead the whole freak'n team in rushing before he gets a shot to start??????????
And if anyone says he isn't pass blocking that well, it can't be any worse than Saturday, Dobson and Bullock missed block after block.

How do we do so good against South Carolina's front, but so bad against UNC's? SC has better talent. Did we underestimate them?

No ... They had a lot of experience on the d front & lb corp they gave us many different looks and rush packages plus their press coverage did a lot to disrupt our routes. Shane was cautious throwing the ball Ruff mentioned that today.
