Those that have been with us a while know how this is done. Essentially,
1. Each game, you pick one player ("gamebreaker") that you think will eclipse his season average in terms of yards if he's an offensive player, or tackles if he's a defender.
*For example, last year, Dominique Davis' average yards passing per game was 268 yards, so if he he was still on the team this year, you might say he throws for 310 yards or more and two touchdowns. As long as he were to hit above the 268 mark, you get the win. Same with defensive players, as long as they eclipse their average tackle mark.
2. You can't pick the same player twice in one season.
3. This year, we are adding that if the offensive player you pick (outside of the starting quarterback) scores a touchdown, then you picked a correct gamebreaker since no one on the team will likely average more than a touchdown per game except a quarterback (in this case, Rio Johnson is off limits for the touchdown rule, but is definitely open for the yards pick in week one).
The same will apply for a defensive player in that if he forces a fumble, recovers a fumble, intercepts a pass, or gets a sack you automatically win regardless of his tackle total.
4. Everyone that participates in the thread MUST vote up each person's post that picks a correct gamebreaker. I'll make a list after the game of everyone that won for you guys to use.
With this being the first game of the 2012 season, we will use 2011 averages for this game, and this game only. Freshman and first-year transfers are off limits this week since this is there first game and don't have any averages.

Rio Johnson is easy money but I will save him and pick Michael Dobson with 71 yards rushing and a pair of touchdowns.
Bodenheimer makes 4 catches for 60+ yards and scores 1 TD.
Justin Jones: 2 catches for 25 yards and 1 TD.
Not really clear on point #4. "vote up each person's vote that picks a correct gamebreaker" ???

I will take D Harris
Going to go ahead and take Carden as I think he will see time as long as he completes one pass its easy money
My Adopt a Pirate Cory Hunter
I am going to go with Magazu....he's going to be working hard
I'm taking the easy money in Rio Johnson.
31-41 332 yards 3 TDs 0 ints

Bodie gets at least 50 yrds
Rio Johnson! How can you not take that easy pick? 247 yards and two TDs for RJ.
Definitely going with my boy Rio. He will eclipse that average on one pass.
24-29, 300 yds, 2 touchdowns
Big East...err...AAC Bound.
Carden gets one series and goes three for five for 25 yards
I'll go with Dobson this week.
"Above all, I take with me the lasting commitment to answer the call of East Carolina, whenever and wherever I can serve." -Leo Jenkins
Jacobi Jenkins with four tackles and a pass deflection.
ECU 4 Life
Rio, 17-23 for 270 & 3 tds
My adopt-a-Pirate, Lance Ray, LRay
I would use the prayer method. Sometimes it works for Auburn,
Rio J. 250 yards and a couple of touchdown tosses
Purple Pirate (Rio)

I had a question about that Stephen QBs are only graded on the passing yards im guessing? since carden only ran it once
I guess that's acceptable since his rushing average last year was 0.0 and he ran for a few yards. Yesterday. I'll give it to you.
Voted up! Congrats!
