agreed. everyone bashed walter williams for being honest. Man has donated millions and has a right to have some pull in the program. 3 dissapointing seasons with Ruff at the helm. No matter what you think about our 8-5 record, this season is a failure. The teams we beat were absolutely terrible.

It's a tough life being a pirate fan.... easy life being a pirate. We are all in this together and have to figure out how to a. Succeed and b. Maintain success with coaches that will stay. I really hope we can bring a and b together soon.
As for the 8-5 finish... in 5 years from now when we look back on 5 straight winning seasons there will be no asterisk stating that the teams we beat were craps... just 8-5.

We had a chance to prove the program was heading in the right direction, we had the opprotunity on national tv to show that our 8-4 record was more than a "paper tiger". And we did the exact opposite. The D is an absolute joke. Reguardless of how cusa is viewed along with the big east (or whatever it will be) we needed for our own image as a program to win this game, now in the national image as we struggle to improve not only our own lot but that of our future conference and we get blown off the field in every critical moment of this game by a sunbelt team, one we are in an arms race with for D-1 survival and some how with half the budget they have surpassed us...this is a dark time where too much is on the line to lose this game

Couldn't agree more. Here we are trying to prove our "football only" invite to the new "big east" and we can't even beat a sun belt team on national tv. Even incoming c-usa teams (north texas) can beat louisiana lafayette. Some changes have to be made, no questions about it.
